Yesterday we took a quick family trip to Wyoming. We visited Brian's grandma and aunts. The girls took a little while to warm up to everyone but then had a great time.

The highlight of the trip was probably the visit to the family ranch. The girls explored the barn and found some owls. They also chased some kittens around and played with the dogs. It is nice to be able to visit people that have animals so the girls can get their animal fix without me having to take care of any.

amen to the "visiting pet plan," that's the one we're on, too. unfortunately, "our dogs" moved to new york. :( we'll need to find some new "pets."
